Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide safe, effective anesthesia care in our comprehensive surgical facility. Working alongside anesthesiologists, you will manage anesthesia for a variety of procedures including mitral clips and watchman devices, with a focus on healthy, head, and pediatric patients.
This role offers a collaborative environment in a high-volume, multi-operating room setting, with no call requirement and no open-heart cases. Full-time availability of 3-4 weeks per month is essential, with shifts typically scheduled as 4-10s or 5-8s, providing excellent work-life balance.
Required Skills
- Active Pennsylvania RN license and current CRNA certification
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in nurse anesthesia
- Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience in a hospital or surgical center setting
- Ability to work full-time, with availability for 4-10 or 5-8 hour shifts, with OT after 40 hours/week
- Strong clinical skills in anesthesia management for multiple patient populations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to patient safety
- Experience with outpatient procedures and ambulatory anesthesia
- Familiarity with mitral clip and Watchman device procedures
- Multispecialty surgical experience outside of OB and open-heart cases
- Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS)
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Anesthesia
- At least 2-3 years of recent anesthesia experience in a high-volume setting
- Prior experience working with anesthesiologists in a supervised environment
- Must hold an active PA license
- Full-time availability required for 3-4 weeks per month
- No pediatric-only CRNA options available at this time
- Ability to work with anesthesia techs and surgical support staff in a busy OR environment
- No overnight call, weekends, or night shifts required
- Credentialing process typically swift; no temporary privileges granted
- This position involves working with patients of all ages, both inpatient and outpatient
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
