Every other weekend:
Saturday & Sunday: 7am - 7pm; 3pm - 11pm; 8am - 12pm ; or 7am - 3pm

Devereux PA Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our main campus is located in Berwyn PA. Our dedicated team of over 800 staff ranging from highly-specialized clinicians and nurses to recreational and direct support professionals, all work toward one common goal - the happiness, self-fulfillment and social integration of each adult in our community.

As a Nurse, you will work in collaboration with the Health Services Coordinator to provide consultation nursing services to Community, Campus, and Vocational program clients. The LPN/RN will serve as a nursing expert and guide staff to implement programs focusing on high quality health care services. You will identify and monitor assigned Individuals' health needs. The LPN/RN implements a priority of care and takes appropriate measures to meet those needs, in accordance with established nursing procedures and regulations.

Job responsibilties:

+ Educate clients, families, and staff on health, wellness, and disease prevention, providing updates as appropriate.

+ Communicate with physicians and collaborate with team members to support client needs and overall well‑being.

+ Perform assessments for potential and current clients and develop, implement, and adjust nursing care plans.

+ Provide direct patient care, including wound care, bedsore treatment, catheterization, vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and documentation in the electronic health system.

+ Attend resident and team meetings, complete regulatory audits, and ensure required physicals, medical, and immunization compliance.

+ Implement necessary dietary changes and provide staff training.

+ Perform other duties as assigned per Devereux standards of care.

Qualifications

+ Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license

+ Eligible to practice in PA

+ Health care facility nursing experience

+ Experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and/or TBI preferred.

+ Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements

+ Able to work weekends

+ Minimum 21 years of age

+ Valid driver's license
