RN - Juvenile Justice Center Hours 5x8 hour shifts per week - includes every other weekend Shift rotates from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Day shift) to 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM (Evening shift) RN - Juvenile Justice Center Compensation The pay for this position is $ per hour paid weekly Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees.

RN - Juvenile Justice Center Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adolescent residents within a secure juvenile correctional and rehabilitation environment Conduct health assessments, screenings, and intake evaluations upon admission Administer prescribed medications and monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions Respond to medical emergencies, injuries, behavioral crises, and urgent healthcare needs Monitor and manage chronic medical conditions, including asthma, diabetes, mental health-related concerns, and other ongoing health issues Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, counselors, and security staff to coordinate comprehensive care plans Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with facility policies and state regulations Provide health education and wellness counseling to youth residents, including hygiene, medication compliance, nutrition, and preventive care Assist with infection control procedures and ensure compliance with healthcare and safety standards Perform routine nursing procedures including wound care, vital signs, specimen collection, and immunizations RN - Juvenile Justice Center Requirements Licensed RN If you think this RN - Juvenile Justice Center position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
