What You’ll Do- Administer treatments and medication as specified in MAR, TAR, PRN sheets and follow properly
- Assemble and use equipment including catheters, tracheotomy tubes and oxygen supplies
- Assist with providing guidance and assistance to Residents as needed with ADLs
- Review 24 hour report and general notes in PCC from the preceding shift
- Follow through on unfinished orders/tasks from shift prior
- Assure Resident care is completed by assignments
- Document changes in Resident care and condition
- Maintain calendar of Resident appointments and assure that transportation of Residents to appointment
- Assess Residents’ condition and inform physician, family/responsible party of any changes and plan of action/treatment, as needed
- Receive orders from physicians and bracket order with time, date and initials. Transfer order to PCC
- Notify pharmacy of changes in medication orders or need for refills, initial and date order changes
- Comply with Department of Human Services regulations and follow the WVC policies and procedures
- Complete lab requests per physician orders with all pertinent information.
- Assure that Residents are seen by a physician annually for medical evaluation or when change i
- Resident’s condition and that physician completes a DME.
- Assure a RASP is completed with each DME.
- Assure that physicians complete necessary paperwork
Active PA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License required
Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available
Full-Time:
2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Every other weekend and holiday
Part-Time:
Weekend-only program with varying shifts
2:30 PM – 11:00 PM with every other weekend and holiday
