Job Summary
Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through outcome identification and evidence‑based practice. As an integral member of the health care team, the RN coordinates patient care, communicates and collaborates extensively with other healthcare team members, patients, and their families, and maintains high professional ethics.
Location and ScheduleLocation:
Lippincott – 301 Lippincott Drive (On‑Site).
Employment Type:
Employee, Per Diem, Part‑time.
Work Shift:
3rd Shift (United States of America). Shift schedule: 7 days on and 7 days off, 5p‑8a every other weekend. Total weekly hours: 0. On‑call rate: $5/hour plus the hourly rate.
- Perform patient assessment and develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
- Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions and regimes.
- Effectively manage rapidly changing situations.
- Participate in clinical decision‑making.
- Educate patient and family/responsible party regarding disease process, individual care needs, wellness, safety issues, etc.
- Delegate and monitor care rendered by other members of the nursing department and healthcare team.
- Demonstrate standard precautions and patient safety principles in practice.
- Participate in orientation, education, and development of the healthcare team.
- Identify and participate in performance improvement activities.
- Maintain professional and departmental level competencies.
- Must have a valid New Jersey RN license; licenses must be presented and maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey Licensing Board.
- Demonstrates knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures, and standards.
- Stays abreast of current nursing practice through ongoing education, journals, etc.
- Must have strong communication skills and be able to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers.
Hourly Rate: $56.17.
