Correctional Registered Nurse

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Correctional Registered Nurse to join our team at SCI Dallas Facility in Pennsylvania. This is a for a minimum duration of 3 months, with the potential for extension based on facility needs.

Shifts:

1 Night Shift (PRN – Must Float as Needed) & 1 Night Shift (3x12-hour shifts for 13 weeks min.) Openings: 1 Night PRN Openings, 1 Night 13-week Contract Opening Commitment: PRN Coverage & 13 weeks minimum

Pay Rate:
Local: $38/hr travel no housing: $20/hr. (all taxable) + $1,224/week (non-taxable) Per Diem: $53/hr. all taxable

Supporting Documentation and Qualifications

• Current, valid, unrestricted RN license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing or Compact State
• Current Primary Source Verification (PSV) through National Council of State Boards of Nursing via Nursys
• Current completed fit testing for N95 particulate respirators
• Minimum one year of recent RN experience

Maricopa County Mandatory Compliance Requirements

Step #1 – Security and Background Clearance
• Complete MCSO Application for Courtesy Identification
• Sign PREA Acknowledgement (Zero Tolerance Policy)
• Submit to Criminal History and Warrants Check
• Complete Fingerprinting with Maricopa County Sheriff's Office
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• No sexually related offenses
• Minimum one year since completion of probation, parole, or incarceration
• No driver's license suspension within the past year
• Must disclose if a known individual is incarcerated within the jail system

Step #2 – Health and Immunization Requirements
• Current TB test (Skin test, QuantiFERON, T-Spot, or Chest X-Ray)
• Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination
• MMR vaccination documentation or titer
• Varicella vaccination documentation, titer, or attestation
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR (In-Person)

Step #3 – Physical and Workplace Requirements
• Ability to perform CPR chest compressions
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and work within a secure correctional environment
• Commitment to assigned PRN schedule and facility needs
• Signed Drug-Free Workplace Attestation
• Signed Physical Performance Attestation

Step #4 – Additional Requirements
• Compliance with facility dress code and prohibited items policy
• No personal cell phones or smart devices in secure areas
• Badge must be worn at all times once issued
• ASRS Retirement disclosure if applicable
• All onboarding documentation must be submitted at least 10 working days prior to start date
