The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing quality nursing care and related services to residents while supporting the daily operations of the assigned unit. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, Registered Nurse, or attending physician, the LPN performs nursing duties in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.
The LPN also assists with supervising Nursing Assistants and helps create a positive physical and psychosocial environment for residents and staff.
- Deliver direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor residents' conditions and report changes appropriately
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Assist in supervising and supporting Nursing Assistants
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies
- Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to achieve positive resident outcomes
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality resident care
- Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem positions available
- Must be available to work every other weekend
