ResponsibilitiesThis position manages the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) Minimum Data Set (MDS) process, ensuring accurate and timely completion, electronic submission, and auditing of documentation. The RNAC coordinates the Interdisciplinary Team for the development and implementation of Care Area Assessments, tracks and reports information on all facility residents for performance improvement and fiscal accountability, and ensures compliance with Medicare/Medical Assistance benefit utilization standards.
All duties are performed to the highest ethical standards and in adherence to the Corporate/Facility Compliance Plan.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program OR possess a Registered Nurse (RN) degree/license from an accredited college, university, associate’s degree program, or diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
- Required to maintain an active, current RN nursing license or LPN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Must possess a current, valid license for the state of Pennsylvania and have practiced nursing for a minimum of two years.
- Must have an understanding of state and federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities, Quality Indicator/Measures reports, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, and Excel required.
