Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Responsibilities Patient Care Excellence

+ Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process and Relationship-Based Care model.

+ Develop individualized care plans and collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

+ Utilize critical thinking to address clinical, safety, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.

+ Maintain accurate documentation and promote patient safety, quality, and satisfaction.

Quality & Evidence-Based Practice

+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance patient care.

+ Utilize research and evidence-based practices to support clinical decision-making.

+ Contribute to discussions that improve patient outcomes and care delivery.

Teamwork & Professionalism

+ Build positive relationships with patients, families, colleagues, and providers.

+ Promote a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.

+ Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and commitment to workplace safety.

+ Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

+ Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

+ Commitment to delivering age-appropriate, patient-centered care

+ Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist patients as needed

Licensure & Certifications

+ Current Registered Nurse (RN) license

+ BLS/CPR required within 30 days of hire

+ CCMC required within 30 days of hire/transfer

+ NIH Stroke Scale (NIH) required within 6 months

+ ACLS and PALS required within 1 year of hire/transfer

+ National nursing certification preferred

+ Act 33

+ Act 34

+ Act 73 FBI Clearance
