Registered Nurse, RN, Medical Surgical
The Registered Nurse, RN, in Medical Surgical is accountable for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care for patients served and collaborates with other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse practices professional nursing by utilizing the nursing process and adheres to standards set forth in the Nurse Practice Act of Pennsylvania and Grand View Health policies and procedures.
Unit Overview:
The Medical Surgical unit consists of 32 beds and primarily serves post surgical and general medical patients. This Unit is a fast-paced environment that sees a diverse patient population with varying levels of acuity. All of our inpatient units are exceptionally collaborative among their staff and share a common philosophy around the value of teamwork, professionalism, and excellent patient care.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Nursing Diploma minimum requirement, required
BSN preferred

Registered Nurse in PA - Licensed, Upon hire, required Basic Life Support (BLS), Upon hire, required

Responsibilities Three 12 hour shifts 7:00 am - 7:30 pm, every third weekend, Self-scheduling.
