Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant

Geisinger is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Convenient Care+ urgent care clinic in South Wilkes-Barre, PA. Job duties include providing care for acute illnesses and chronic condition flare-ups at our South Wilkes-Barre Convenient Care+ clinic, an alternative to emergency department visits. The clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostics and direct hospital admission capabilities.

• $10,000 recruitment incentive
• Flexible schedule: 14 rotating shifts/month, no overnights, no mandatory extra shifts
• Shift hours: 12-hour weekdays (Mon–Fri), 10-hour weekends (Sat–Sun)
• Autonomous practice with on-site physician support
• Collaborative care team:
  Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, RNs (available all hours of operation), Phlebotomy, Radiology Techs
• Advanced equipment:
  Telemedicine carts and continuous vital sign monitoring
• On-site diagnostics: X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, lab services
• Direct hospital admissions when needed

Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required), Master's Degree-Nurse Practitioner (Required)
