Acute Care RN - Medical/Surgical and Telemetry
Seeking an experienced Acute Care RN specializing in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry for night shifts. The role offers a stable schedule with no call or float requirements, focusing on delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical and telemetry patients according to established standards.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to changes.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain compliance with all certification, licensing, and hospital policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid state nursing license (pending with ETA acceptable).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA preferred).
- Ability to work 3 x 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am.
- Demonstrated competency in managing medical/surgical and telemetry patients.
- Eligible for Tier2 travel compliance requirements and PA fingerprinting.
