American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN with a compact or PA RN license, EPIC experience, and at least 3 years of Cath Lab experience for a 13-week assignment.

• Work in the Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule (4x9.5 hours), 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required every 3rd weekend
• On-call responsibilities required 1-2 shifts per week
• Uses EPIC EMR system

• Active RN license (Compact or PA) currently in hand
• Current certifications:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures such as diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, TAVR, IABP placement/removal, and vascular closure systems
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, procedural sedation monitoring, and 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition
• Experience administering and monitoring cardiac medications including antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, IV vasopressors, and thrombolytics

• Provide direct patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures including circulating, monitoring, and post-procedure care
• Perform sheath removal and monitor for complications post-procedure
• Utilize topical hemostasis and vascular closure devices as needed
• Approximately 4 hours of unpaid orientation modules required prior to start
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment
• Former employees of the Guthrie Healthcare System must be separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
