Surgical/Trauma Stepdown Nurse

Could you be our next Surgical/Trauma Stepdown Nurse at Lankenau Medical Center?

As a part of our interdisciplinary team working within the 32 bed unit, your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of their patient experience. As a registered nurse, you would be caring for the surgical & trauma stepdown/progressive care (PCU) patient population.

Be one of the many MLH nurses who pursue certifications or advanced nursing degrees (BSN, MSN, MBA, PhD, DNP) by taking advantage of our tuition reimbursement program! This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your full or part time status.

Become engaged by joining hospital & system-wide nursing committees, unit councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the clinical ladder program.

Position:
Registered Nurse (RN) - 1 Pavilion

Shift: 36 hrs per week, nights or d/n rotation (up to the candidate); weekend rotation required.

Experience:

One year of recent telemetry/stepdown nurse experience required. Post surgical and/or trauma RN experience preferred.

Education:

• RN diploma, ASN required.
• BSN preferred.

Licensures/certifications:

• PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the nursing licensure compact.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
