Floor Nurse (RN/LPN) - Evening Shift
Join a dedicated team as a Floor Nurse (RN/LPN) in our Long-Term Care/SNF facility, responsible for executing patient care and ensuring the health and safety of residents.
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/ShiftThis position requires an 8-hour evening shift from 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM, every other weekend.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments, including IV medications, blood glucose monitoring, and wound care.
- Perform patient assessments and vital sign monitoring.
- Assist in the administration of activities of daily living (ADLs) and respond to patient needs.
- Document care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR) using PCC.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses, and Nurse Supervisors.
- Participate in care plan meetings as needed.
- Must hold a valid RN or LPN license.
- BLS certification is required.
- Prior experience with PCC EMR and measuring wounds is essential.
- Experience in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
