About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Adult Respiratory/Tele Med Surg unit provides comprehensive nursing care, focusing on patients with high needs for oxygenation and specialized interventions. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a collaborative team environment and are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

- Facility: Jefferson Hospital
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
- Contribute to team success through role modeling and mentoring.
- Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
- Provide feedback regarding clinical practice and role performance.
- Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care.
- Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
- Utilize the nursing process to develop patient care plans.
- Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
- Continuously evaluate patient and family satisfaction.
Education:
- Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required.
- Preferred certification in area of specialty.
Certifications:
- CPR certification required.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
