About This Role

The Infusion RN Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients receiving home infusion therapy. This role is ideal for nurses who are skilled in providing care in alternative settings and have a strong commitment to patient outcomes.

• Pay: $32 - $51/hour
• Location: Pa, US
• Facility: Allegheny Health Network
• Schedule: Full-time

• Assure safe delivery of nursing services in alternative care settings.
• Actively participate in ongoing interdisciplinary communication specific to each patient.
• Direct and organize ancillary care as appropriate.
• Adhere to Allegheny Health Network policies regarding medical record documentation.
• Conduct home infusion visits to administer infusion therapy.
• Complete patients’ clinical assessments and communicate findings to team members.
• Implement nursing interventions to meet patient needs per physician orders.
• Accurately receive, implement, and evaluate physician orders for patient outcomes.
• Document referral information and share with team members.
• Provide direct patient/caregiver teaching/care as appropriate for Pharmacy Services patients.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• 1 year acute care/IV experience required
• Experience with Home Infusion Care and/or IV Therapy preferred

• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through eNLC
• CPR certification required
• Current valid driver's license
• Proof of current automobile insurance
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
