We are seeking a Full-Time RN Supervisor to lead our nursing team during the 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift, Monday through Friday. This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee resident care, support nursing staff, and contribute to a culture centered on respect, dignity, and service excellence.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with weekends off.

Scheduled hours and days are based on current operational needs and are subject to change. Flexibility may be required to meet resident care needs and organizational requirements.

Position Summary

The RN Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of an assigned nursing unit and the coordination and delivery of high-quality resident care. This position provides leadership, guidance, and oversight to nursing staff while ensuring compliance with physician orders, resident care plans, organizational policies, and state and federal regulations.

The RN Supervisor collaborates with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure positive outcomes and an exceptional resident experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Staff Supervision, including supervise nursing personnel within the assigned unit.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and coordinate staffing adjustments as needed.
  • Allocate work assignments and provide guidance, coaching, and training.
  • Evaluate, counsel, and support assigned nursing staff.
  • Recommend improvements to resident care and continuity of care.
  • Foster teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.
Resident Care Oversight
  • Monitor resident care to ensure individual care plans are followed.
  • Assist with direct resident care as needed.
  • Conduct rounds to assess resident status and identify changes in condition.
  • Evaluate resident needs and coordinate appropriate interventions.
  • Notify physicians and other appropriate parties regarding significant changes in resident condition.
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Consult with physicians as indicated.
  • Receive, record, and transcribe physician orders as required.
  • Supervise medication storage and administration in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate emergency responses, resident transfers, and required documentation.
  • Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices, standards of care, and applicable regulations.
Communication and Service Excellence
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, family members, physicians, and coworkers.
  • Promote and protect resident dignity, rights, and quality of life.
  • Consistently provide excellent service to residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
  • Maintain compliance with all Peter Becker Community policies, the Code of Conduct, privacy requirements, and HIPAA regulations.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Attend required in-services, training programs, and staff meetings.
  • Maintain required continuing education and competency requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
