About This Role
The RN Registered Nurse, Float position at Highmark Health involves utilizing the nursing process to provide and direct patient care in accordance with established policies and protocols. This role is ideal for nurses who are adaptable and can work in various settings.

- Perform a comprehensive patient assessment to identify patient needs.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care.
- Perform and document direct patient care and patient education according to nursing standards of practice.
- Identify and respond to patient conditions to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Direct and delegate care provided by ancillary team members.
Education:
- Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
Certifications:
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
