Guthrie is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurosurgery team in Sayre, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who enjoys complex patient care, values close collaboration with physicians and other members of the care team and wants to develop expertise within a comprehensive neurosurgical practice.
Highlights of the Position- Join an established Neurosurgery practice supported by an integrated, multispecialty health system
- Work collaboratively with neurosurgeons, APP colleagues, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and other specialists involved in the care of neurosurgical patients
- Participate in the evaluation and management of patients with a broad range of neurological and spine conditions
- Provide continuity of care across the neurosurgical patient journey, including preoperative evaluation, postoperative follow-up, and ongoing clinical management
- Opportunity to develop advanced knowledge and clinical skills in neurosurgery while working closely with experienced surgeons

- Competitive salary range of $125,000 to $158,000

- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current or eligible Pennsylvania licensure
- Current or eligible national certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and care-coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team
- Interest in caring for patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions
- Neurosurgery, neurology, spine, surgical, critical care, or other relevant clinical experience is preferred; motivated candidates with a strong interest in developing expertise in neurosurgery are encouraged to apply
