About This Role

- Assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
- Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
- Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care or health services.
- Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in department-specific quality initiatives.
- Utilize the nursing process to develop patient care plans.
- Analyze health status and assess patient reports/records for changes in condition.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous lifelong learning for self and others.
- Participate in systematic peer review and seek feedback on practice.
- Promote compassionate communication that is patient and family-centered.
Education:
- Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Preferred certification in area of specialty
Certifications:
- CPR certification required
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
