Available Positions: CNA – Evening Shift | South Mountain, PA 17261: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM CNA – Night Shift | South Mountain, PA 17261: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM CNA – Float | Somerset, PA 15501: 8-hour shifts. The Float CNA may work up to two different shifts during a two-week period and must be open to both the 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM and 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts.
Job SummaryWe are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide daily care and support to patients and residents in a long-term care, hospital, infirmary, or residential care setting. CNAs will work under the direction of Registered Nurses (RNs) and other licensed healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals.
- Help residents with walking, transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
- Provide care to both ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents.
- Monitor residents and report changes in physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
- Assist with prescribed rehabilitation and recreational activities.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident living areas.
- Follow established nursing, safety, and infection-control procedures.
- Document care and resident information as required.
- Participate in required training and in-service education.
- Work cooperatively with nurses and other members of the healthcare team.
- Current Pennsylvania CNA certification required for positions in Long-Term Care.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience caring for geriatric or physically ill patients/residents is preferred or required based on facility requirements.
- Basic computer skills, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to safely assist with resident mobility and physical care.
