Join UPMC's Family Medicine team in Montgomery as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This outpatient opportunity offers a consistent Monday - Friday, dayshift schedule (8:00am-4:30pm & 8:30am-5:00pm), with 1 Saturday morning shift per month (8:00am-12:00pm). Provides professional nursing care to office patients under supervision of patient care providers.

• Draw blood.
• Administer medications, including oral, SQ, IM, and IV drip therapies.
• Perform IV therapy under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
• Assess patients' general condition, including vital signs and weight.
• Promote wellness through patient education and by communicating physician instructions and recommendations.
• Document patient care activities, interventions, patient and family responses, and medications in the medical record.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of medical records and patient information.
• Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those established by OSHA, CLIA, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
