• Assess human responses and implement nursing care plans.
• Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
• Supervise, delegate, and evaluate assigned LPN scope of practice.
• Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
• Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
• Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
• Promote compassionate communication that is patient and family-centered.
• Continuously evaluate and assess patient and family satisfaction.

• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required.

• Preferred certification in area of specialty.

• CPR certification required.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
