American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Float Pool RN for a night shift position requiring a PA or compact RN license and Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

• Med/Surg Telemetry float position within a hospital setting
• Team nursing model with patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:8
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30
• Weekend rotation required every other weekend
• Float position requiring staff to float within scope to meet facility needs
• No block scheduling accommodations available
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic charting system

• Active PA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:8 required
• Epic charting system experience required
• NIHSS and TCAR certifications preferred

• Care for patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry-level monitoring
• May float to various units based on facility needs within scope of practice
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for consideration
• Former Guthrie Healthcare System employees must be separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• RTO requests of 5 days or less are preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
