We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team at Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a premier long-term care facility in Abington, Pennsylvania. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in a friendly environment, support our team of professionals, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
Job Summary:As an RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, and providing guidance and support to the direct care staff. You will also be responsible for completing nursing assessments, transfers, discharges, treatment plans, progress notes, medication reconciliation, medication administration, and vitals. Additionally, you will convey accurate information in a supportive and courteous manner to the unit nursing staff, seek out supervision and direction from a physician, and assist the medical doctor as needed.

- Attend and actively participate in departmental staff meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries.
- Orientation of new employees to unit-specific policies and procedures.
- Must have Knowledge of HIPAA laws, confidentiality, state licensing regulations, CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- Oversight and serve as a resource to the direct care staff.
- Support to the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers with staffing and activities as assigned.
- Direct patient care when necessary and/or assigned.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
- CPR Certification.
- Experience is preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
- Must possess a compassionate and caring demeanor.
