School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Factoryville, Pennsylvania

This full-time position involves providing dedicated 1:1 care for a 15-year-old student with complex medical needs, including wheelchair mobility, g-tube management, tracheostomy, and ventilator support. You'll be the primary nursing presence throughout the school day, ensuring continuity and high-quality care for your student.

In this role, you'll work school schedules Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. If you're interested in assisting with transportation, your day will run from 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM, which is a highly valued bonus.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Pennsylvania LPN or RN license
• Previous school-based experience or pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Skilled in g-tube feeding, tracheostomy care, and ventilator support
• Ability to provide compassionate, attentive care in a school environment
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with school staff and families
• Willingness to consider optional transportation duties

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive 1:1 nursing care for a high-needs student during classroom and potentially transportation times
• Monitor and respond to the student's medical needs, including trach and vent management, g-tube feeds, and mobility assistance
• Communicate effectively with teachers, school personnel, and the student's family regarding care and daily progress
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date health records and follow all school district policies and procedures
• Support the student's participation in daily school activities, ensuring health and safety at all times
