We are hiring a Lawncare Technician to join our State College Maintenance team.

Position

Description:

The Lawncare Technician performs lawn care services for residential and commercial customers, including applications and maintenance, using tools and equipment safely and efficiently. This person must be comfortable working independently while adhering to quality and safety standards.

This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to DOT drug and alcohol regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and maintain tools, equipment, and truck; travel to job sites as scheduled.
• Safely prepare and apply lawn treatments, ensuring proper labeling and cleanup.
• Keep job sites organized and complete tasks efficiently while meeting safety and quality standards.
• Observe lawn health, report issues to Manager, and assist customers courteously.
• Follow all safety procedures and proper equipment operation; maintain DOT compliance as required.

Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain required DOT qualifications.
• Knowledge of lawn care application standards, safety procedures, and site task expectations.
• Strong verbal communication skills; able to represent the company professionally.
• Committed to safety and proper equipment use; pesticide license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Ability to learn safe mixing, storing, and operation of application materials and equipment.
