Position:
Cardiology Veterinary Technician

• Assist in patient procedures such as echocardiography, thoracentesis, pericardiocentesis, and multiple types of interventional cardiology procedures.
• Manage appointments, obtain histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, and organize and manage daily service flow.
• Perform intravenous catheter placement, obtain blood pressures, and conduct ECGs.
• Client education on the many different cardiology disease processes.
• Drive the Med Vet Experience and ensure our patients receive the highest quality care.
• Inspire, teach, multitask and be a highly functional team member.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and complete.

• State registered Veterinary Technician license preferred.
• Prior veterinary experience required, cardiology experience desired.
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.).
• Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
