Must love dogs! Doggie daycare is an action‑packed environment. You must be on your feet during the whole shift. Dogs are moving constantly, so you must monitor dog play and sometimes interrupt the activity if the dogs are getting too rowdy. You are responsible for cleaning up after the dogs, including pee, poop, puke, and drool.
You must clean and disinfect kennels, beds, bowls, buckets, play yards, and other equipment. You cannot have allergies to cleaners or dogs. The daycare job involves a lot of cleaning and even bathing some dogs.
We open at 6:30 AM and close late evening shift continues until everything is cleaned and all dogs have been taken outside to potty. Sometimes it is 9 PM or later, especially during summer when there are a lot of dogs sleeping over.
There is a shift differential for hours before 8 AM and hours worked after 8 PM. Overtime is paid for hours worked over 40 per week.
QualificationsMust love dogs, have no allergies to dogs or cleaning products, and be willing to work a full shift while standing and moving constantly.
