Veterinary Extern - General Practice

Overview

Willow Run Veterinary Clinic is a 7‑doctor small animal general practice that sees a wide variety of cases. We work as a team and like to collaborate. We offer a fun environment to work and a team with a great sense of humor.

• Work closely with the supervising veterinarian to gather patient histories, perform physical examinations, create treatment plans, conduct diagnostics, provide dentistry services, observe or assist in surgical procedures, and manage patients medically.
• Practice clinical skills and develop communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients.

Externship experiences range from 2 to 8 weeks depending on student and hospital schedules. We offer externships to 3rd and 4th year veterinary students.
