Role: Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant
Status: Full-time
Salary: Competitive and based on experience
Schedule: 4 days per week with rotating Saturday shifts

What our Veterinary Technicians and Assistants Do

As a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant, you’ll work alongside our veterinarians and support team to provide compassionate, efficient care for our patients and clients.

  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and relevant medical information
  • Safely handle and restrain patients using Fear Free and low-stress techniques
  • Assist with diagnostic testing and sample collection based on your experience and training
  • Prepare patients, equipment, and treatment areas for procedures
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as permitted by your role, training, and applicable regulations
  • Assist with surgical and dental procedures based on your experience and credentials
  • Provide attentive and compassionate patient care and monitoring
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about their pets’ care
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient medical records
  • Keep treatment and patient-care areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for the day
  • Anticipate the needs of our veterinarians and teammates to promote efficiency and teamwork
  • Jump in wherever needed to support patients, clients, and coworkers
