At VRC Specialty Hospital, you'll step into an established and highly respected Dentistry service supported by an exceptional multidisciplinary team and a robust referral community. We are seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Dentist who enjoys collaboration, advanced medicine, and helping patients achieve exceptional quality of life through specialty oral health care.

You’ll work alongside specialists in Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Ophthalmology, Surgery, Radiology, Rehabilitation, Acupuncture, and Neurology. This collaborative culture creates opportunities to deliver comprehensive treatment plans for complex patients while benefiting from the expertise of multiple specialties.

Our state-of-the-art facility offers advanced diagnostic and imaging capabilities, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, C-Arm, and endoscopy equipment, empowering clinicians to provide exceptional dental and oral surgical care.

In your day-to-day, you will:
  • Diagnose and manage a wide variety of dental, oral, maxillofacial, and periodontal diseases.
  • Perform advanced dental and oral surgical procedures utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging resources.
  • Collaborate closely with Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Neurology, Emergency & Critical Care, and other specialists to support integrated patient care.
  • Utilize CT imaging and advanced diagnostics to guide treatment planning and complex case management.
  • Build trusted relationships with referring veterinarians through consultation and collaborative case management.
  • Guide pet owners through treatment recommendations, oral health strategies, and post-operative care with empathy and confidence.
  • Mentor technicians and support staff while helping foster a culture of learning and clinical excellence.
  • Participate in rounds, educational initiatives, and multidisciplinary case discussions.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of a thriving Dentistry & Oral Surgery service.
What You Bring
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
  • Board Certification in Veterinary Dentistry (DAVDC) or Residency Trained in Veterinary Dentistry.
  • Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
