Gerhart’s Landscaping, a well-established and growing company based in Hellertown, PA, is seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Crew Leader to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in their work, values quality, and enjoys leading others. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for guiding your team to deliver exceptional landscape maintenance services, ensuring high standards are met on every property.

- Lead and work alongside a landscape crew to complete daily tasks efficiently and safely.
- Review work tickets, property notes, maps, and job expectations to plan the workday.
- Communicate job requirements and delegate responsibilities to crew members.
- Organize labor, equipment, tools, and materials needed for scheduled work.
- Maintain high quality standards and inspect completed work before leaving each property.
- Train and coach crew members on proper landscape practices and company expectations.
- Address quality or performance issues promptly and constructively.
- Document job progress, complete required photos, time entries, and work-ticket documentation.
- Maintain clean and organized trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment.
- Identify and help resolve problems proactively, communicating important information to management.
- Set a positive example for safety, attendance, attitude, and productivity.
- Participate in snow and ice management operations during the winter months as needed.
- Professional landscaping experience required.
- Previous experience in a crew leader or landscape leadership role strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance practices, including mowing, trimming, pruning, bed maintenance, seasonal cleanups, and general landscape maintenance.
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team while working alongside them.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to recognize and address quality issues.
- Ability to read and follow work orders and property-specific instructions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to plan ahead and anticipate crew needs.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Comfortable providing direction and holding crew members accountable.
- Ability to safely operate commercial landscape equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
Starting at $32.00 per hour
Full-time, year-round employment
