We have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor, Technical Services to join our Langeloth Metallurgical Facility in Langeloth, PA. In this onsite role, you will be responsible for overseeing the QA Laboratory to support our molybdenum business activities.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborating with Operations and Process Engineers on experiments, product development, and production processes.
- Oversee and supervise the daily operations of the QA Laboratory and personnel.
- Establish performance criteria for all test methods.
- Assist cross‑functional teams in the resolution of customer complaints and/or concerns.
- Ensure all laboratory instruments are functioning properly and troubleshoot/repair instruments when required.
- Work to revise, develop, document, and implement routine/non‑routine methods.
- Develop alternative wet chemical or instrumental methods for increased laboratory versatility.
- Serve as an internal auditor to assess the organization’s compliance with the ISO Standard.
- Ensure all laboratory personnel are trained and proficient in all test methods.
- Maintain adequate supplies and reagents for laboratory operations.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures.
- Prepare reports and summaries of findings.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Support Commercial activities including direct involvement as required.
- Lead small development projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or related.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to learn plant operations methods/practices.
- ISO Internal Auditor certification.
- Proficient at using a wide range of lab equipment and techniques.
