Quality Assurance LeadRegular Full-Time Shoemakersville, PA, US
Main purpose of the Quality Assurance Lead roleThis is a full-time role for a candidate who will assist managers in training and developing quality assurance to minimize monetary loss from defective merchandise. Other duties may be added as needed.
Major Responsibilities- Collaborate with QA Manager on daily processes weekly
- Monitor QA team’s daily assigned duties for accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with weekly report running to help assess volume in departments
- Assist with updating system processes for efficiencies on a regular basis
- Train and develop a team of quality assurance assistants
- Communicate with vendors regarding defective and unacceptable merchandise as needed
- Provide feedback on, and help to create, systems and procedures
- Coordinate department team activities and other functions as needed
- Navigate proficiently through multiple systems
- Assist in other areas in department as needed
- Ability to work in a team environment and work successfully with any personality type
- Ability to give and receive honest and direct feedback
- Strong customer orientation with desire and willingness to help
- Strong multitasking, prioritization and organizational skills for record keeping
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of apparel construction and fabrication and various fashion categories
- Ability to work required overtime when business needs warrant
- Navigate proficiently through multiple systems
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Type 50+ words per minute
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be proficient in English; bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
- 2+ years of warehouse experience
