Location: Kennett Square

A 503A compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead their QA team and uphold rigorous quality standards. This contract-to-hire role offers an opportunity to contribute within an established framework, maintaining operational consistency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance processes and metrics to ensure product quality meets all required specifications.
  • Interpret and enforce quality assurance standards aligned with regulatory and company expectations.
  • Lead regular quality audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality into all processes and products.
  • Train and mentor QA team members on compliance and best practices.
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, driving corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor quality trends and analyze data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including USP , , , and relevant state/federal requirements for 503A operations.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in pharmaceutical compounding quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of USP , , standards and regulatory compliance for 503A pharmacies.
  • Proven track record in leading audits and managing regulatory inspections.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS), document control software, and data integrity principles; 21 CFR Part 11 awareness preferred.
  • Ability to work within established procedures with a team-oriented mindset.
Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Flexible availability on Saturdays if needed
This position requires adherence to the current operational practices, respecting the "Boothwyn Way" with minimal changes to existing processes. The initial assignment is a 13-week contract leading to potential hire.
