Summary
Inspect parts, products, materials and processes to ensure conformance with standards. Checks for irregularities and defects. Compares product with order to ensure completion of assembly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Inspect each home. Utilize check sheet and inspect each room and exterior for obvious cosmetic defects.
- Follow‑up on repairs—continuously. You will personally inspect each item written up on the check sheet to verify that a quality repair has been done and that no other damage happens during the repair process.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control Manager and manufacturing personnel to effectively resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications and/or manufacturing operations.
- Ensure all quality control policies, procedures, directives and systems are compliant with company policies and applicable federal regulations, continually striving to increase the level of quality assurance within the facility.
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company and OSHA regulations.

Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned. Keeps area neat and clean. Reads and uses a tape measure. Reads blueprints and orders. Communicates well with coworkers. Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.
Must have a strong work ethic; must work quickly and methodically; must understand safety procedures; must have good teamwork skills; and must live the Champion Operating Principles.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear; frequently required to walk, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
High school degree or G.E.D. and one‑year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
