Quality Control Technician
The Quality Control Technician supports the manufacturing and assembly of advanced fuel cell components by performing inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure products meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain high reliability in production. The technician contributes directly to product quality and performance while helping build innovative clean-energy technology within a growing advanced manufacturing team.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components and assemblies to ensure they meet specified requirements.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using hand tools and measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain complete quality documentation and inspection reports in accordance with company procedures.
- Identify non-conforming materials and products and support root cause investigations and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Support quality audits and compliance activities as required by internal quality systems and external standards.
- Assist with maintaining quality records and databases to ensure traceability and compliance with quality systems.
- Communicate inspection results, quality issues, and potential risks clearly to manufacturing and engineering teams.
- Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures and guidelines while performing daily tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives in production and quality processes.
Essential Skills
- 1–3+ years of experience in a quality control, inspection, or manufacturing technician role.
- Proven ability to perform quality inspections on components and assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Experience using basic inspection and measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping.
- Basic computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office and quality databases or ERP systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or laboratory environment while following established procedures.
- Strong communication skills to convey inspection results and quality issues to cross-functional teams.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing and laboratory environment where the Quality Control Technician works closely with production and engineering teams around advanced fuel cell components. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The environment involves working around electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical assemblies, using hand tools and measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Work is performed in accordance with established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures, with regular use of computers for documentation, quality databases, and ERP systems. The setting supports innovative clean-energy technology development and offers the opportunity to be part of a growing advanced manufacturing team.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mount Pleasant, PA.
Pay and Benefits
