Shipping - Gratz Plant

About the Role

Positions available in the Shipping Department as Shipping / Forklift Driver – 2nd Shift. Full‑time, 40+ hours per week. Starting rate is $21.00 plus $1.50 shift differential. 2nd Shift runs Monday – Friday, 2:30pm – 11:00pm. We are looking for Shippers to join our team at the Gratz plant. Our company, MI Windows and Doors, is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl and aluminum windows and patio doors, with plants across the country.

• Read and understand orders and job specifications for product.
• Understand the scanning system for loading trucks.
• Obey all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Compliance with all safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE.
• Inspect work in process and finished units to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Understand the loading process and responsibilities.
• Provide or actively participate in continued process improvements.
• Maintain regular punctual attendance, essential for the job.
• Learn product identification and how to secure product properly.
• Work over 40 hours per week as needed.

• Valid PA driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy products.
• Good people skills; able to communicate with team members and work well in group environments.
• Ability to stand and move frequently while performing repetitive tasks.
• Collaborative, team‑driven attitude.
• Strong attendance record; quality and precision‑driven, following all quality and safety requirements.
• Customer service mentality and a strong desire to meet daily production goals.
• Strong reasoning and creative problem‑solving skills to overcome production challenges.
• Availability to work overtime and weekends if needed.
• Previous experience in a team environment is a plus.
