Quality Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our quality control systems and equipment. You will play a crucial part in advancing process capability and fostering continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations. Your expertise will support data-driven analyses, troubleshooting, and calibration activities to meet and exceed regulatory, customer, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply statistical process control (SPC) techniques to enhance process capability and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee measurement system analysis, including management of inspection systems, gauge calibration, and analytical testing.
- Develop and execute instructions for inspection, testing, calibration, and evaluation of products, equipment, and processes.
- Review and approve Certificates of Acceptance (CoA) for production batches, ensuring timely release.
- Conduct process capability analyses (Cpk, Ppk, CTQ) and maintain calibration certificates for equipment.
- Support quality product development, trial tests, and facilitate customer audits.
- Provide quality training for employees and participate in root cause analysis for nonconforming products.
- Perform periodic gap analysis, generating reports and charts to drive improvement projects.
- Monitor and test critical control points (CCPs) and conduct internal audits with actionable plans for findings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Conduct internal audits and develop corrective action plans following external audits.
- Perform additional duties as required by the role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field is required.
- In-depth knowledge of HARA, ISO, and BRCGS standards.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable position within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in quality metrics, reporting, and troubleshooting, with exposure to calibration and audit support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional time management skills and proficiency in Excel, statistical software, and quality-related applications.
