Position SummaryAs our Quality Control Manager, you will be the operational backbone of our quality team. You’ll step onto the floor daily, partner with production and engineering, dig into root causes, and build a culture of zero-defect excellence from the ground up .

Key Responsibilities- Manage all the manufacturing plant quality control activities.
- Spend significant time on the production floor working with production supervisors and Manufacturing engineer to resolve quality inconsistency issues and reduce rejects.
- Conduct root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.).
- Ensure the implementation of corrective and containment actions
- Ensure the effectiveness of corrective actions and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure the appropriate execution of all products quality inspections (Incoming, In-process, Final) per inspection plan.
- Supervise 3 quality control team members provide guidance and feedback.
- Monitor manufacturing audits and quality procedures execution to identify deviations.
- Develop inspection plans and quality documentation for new products.
- Support the creation of Quality control documents as forms, procedures, and supplier quality requirements.
- Assist with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Support the resolution of customer complaints.
- Contact Suppliers to share products nonconformities or potential improvements. Follow-up on their corrective actions.
- Ensure calibration requirements are maintained for inspection and test equipment.
- Cooperate with management to identify improvement opportunities and reduce non-quality costs.
You are passionate about professional challenges and take pride in a job well done. You are meticulous and detail-oriented, and you have a proven experience as Quality Control Manager.
You also have the following assets:
- 5+ years of Quality Leadership: Proven experience managing plant-level quality control activities in a manufacturing or industrial environment . (Composite materials experience is a huge plus, but problem-solving grit comes first !)
- You don't hide behind a desk . You are accessible, visible, and comfortable making crucial quality calls in the heat of production .
- Highly skilled in 8D, 5-Why, and containment/corrective action strategies .
- Strong Excel skills for trend analysis, defect tracking, and management reporting .
- Experience with ISO is an advantage.
- Schedule of Monday to Friday, around 8h30 AM-4h30 PM (it's flexible).
