Shift: 1st shift 6a-430p M-TH
Pay: 22/hr
About the RoleWe are seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Technician responsible for ensuring products meet all internal and external customer requirements throughout the manufacturing process. This role plays a critical part in maintaining our Quality Management System and supporting continuous improvement across the organization.
The ideal candidate is collaborative, analytical, proactive, and committed to delivering high‑quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Promote a culture of quality, teamwork, and accountability
- Serve as a coach, mentor, and supportive team contributor
- Help develop systems and processes that enhance our ability to meet customer expectations
- Act as a mediator to clarify customer requirements and interpret quality standards
- Perform Pre‑Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on completed vehicles
- Conduct data entry, analysis, and communicate findings
- Generate reports and audit new and existing processes
- Write, control, and manage documentation
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis, DFMEA, PFMEA, Practical Problem Solving, etc.
- Initiate nonconforming material reports for supplier-related issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct training, orientation, and information‑sharing sessions
- Lead by example with respect to safety and teamwork
- Provide coverage for other quality technicians as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2–3 years of related Quality Manufacturing experience
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent attendance and positive attitude
- Ability to read and use measurement tools
- Ability to provide accurate documentation and defect feedback
- Strong attention to detail
- Self‑motivated and able to stay on task
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Ability to read engineering documents (prints, assembly drawings)
- Ability to work overtime on short notice
Preferred:
- Associate degree or Technical degree
- CQT certification
- Willingness to rotate through all quality areas
- Willingness to learn and pursue additional training
- Ability to develop working knowledge of systems such as AS/400 and Sparcon
3–5 years of relevant Quality Manufacturing experience required
