Quality Inspector
Cannonball Recruiting is seeking experienced Quality Inspectors to support manufacturing operations in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and responsible for inspecting materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards.
Job Duties- Inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality and specification compliance.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, rulers, and CMM equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and specifications.
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming products or quality issues.
- Complete inspection reports, quality documentation, and inspection sheets accurately.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions when quality issues arise.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Verify products meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing quality processes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- 1–3 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience using precision inspection and measuring equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete quality documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and identify potential quality issues.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control).
- Experience with CMM inspection equipment.
- Manufacturing or machining environment experience.
