Quality Inspector

Location: Dover

Our client is seeing a QC Inspector to join their shop.

-Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of CNC machined and fabricated components
-Use CMMs, FARO arms, micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators and other calibration and testing equipment
-Read and work according to drawings, schematics, specs and GD&T
-Set up, check, care for and store inspection equipment
-Record inspection results and prepare quality reports
-Identify, document, segregate and verify repair/rework or disposition of nonconforming materials and work
-Communicate inspection findings and corrective actions to quality, engineering, manufacturing and production Required Skills & Experience
-HS Diploma or GED
-Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, GD&T, dimensions, tolerances
-Experience using precision measuring equipment
-Familiarity with CMM and dimensional inspection methods
-Strong math and analytical skills
-Must be detail-oriented
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs
-Must have basic computer skills including MS Office, quality and/or ERP systems Preferred Skills & Experience

- Experience with first article inspections, nonconformance reporting, root cause analysis, corrective action and continuous improvement
-Experience in industrial quality control inspection experience preferably in a CNC or manufacturing environment
