Quality Control Inspector

Support Critical Laboratory Sample Preparation as a Quality Control Inspector!

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a safety-focused and dependable Quality Control Inspector to support hands-on sample preparation activities in a technical work environment. This role is ideal for someone comfortable using shop tools, following detailed procedures, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

• Prepare samples using equipment and tools including:
  • Band saw
  • Bolt cutters
  • Snips
• Follow established sample preparation procedures and work instructions.
• Use acetone as required during assigned preparation activities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow all required PPE and site safety procedures.
• Travel between nearby work locations as needed.
• Complete required safety and equipment training before performing assigned tasks.

• All required job and site-specific safety training will be provided.
• PPE will be provided for assigned activities.
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training will be provided for designated band saw cleaning activities.
• Safety Data Sheets (SDS), eyewash stations, and emergency showers are available onsite.
• This position will not be responsible for handling, transferring, or disposing of hazardous waste or chemicals beyond the defined use of acetone.
• Equipment maintenance and LOTO activities outside the defined band saw cleaning scope are not part of this role.

• Comfortable using basic hand tools and shop equipment.
• Strong commitment to following safety procedures.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions consistently.
• Good attention to detail and reliability.
• Comfortable working independently after training.
• Ability to travel between two nearby work sites as required.

• $25.00/hr pay rate

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
