Pursuant Energy Partners is seeking experienced and motivated Land Acquisition Agents to support land acquisition projects across the energy industry, including oil & gas, renewable energy, pipelines, utilities, and infrastructure
.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and negotiator who can build relationships with landowners, overcome objections, negotiate agreements, and successfully move deals from initial contact through execution.

This position may be field-based, remote, or a combination of both
, depending on project requirements.

• Identify and contact landowners within assigned project areas.
• Negotiate and secure leases, easements, Right-of-Way (ROW) agreements, purchase agreements, and other land-related documents.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with landowners and other stakeholders.
• Explain project terms and address landowner questions and concerns.
• Negotiate directly with landowners and their representatives to reach mutually acceptable agreements.
• Review title information, ownership records, maps, and other land-related documentation.
• Coordinate with title, legal, project management, and client teams to resolve issues and move transactions forward.
• Maintain accurate records of landowner communications, negotiations, and executed agreements.
• Provide regular status updates and meet project deadlines and acquisition goals.
• Travel within assigned project areas when required.
• Work independently while managing multiple landowners and negotiations simultaneously.

• 2+ years of experience in land acquisition, land services, Right-of-Way, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in oil & gas, renewable energy, pipeline, utility, or infrastructure projects is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills with a proven ability to secure agreements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build trust and effectively communicate with landowners.
• Comfortable handling objections and difficult negotiations.
• Ability to read and understand basic title, ownership, maps, leases, easements, and ROW documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel as required by the project.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field assignments.
