Department

BSD MED - Gastroenterology - Abadie Research Staff

About the Department

We are a multidisciplinary team whose focus is to better understand how mucosal immune responses are dysregulated in the context of intestinal inflammatory disorders. We are particularly interested in characterizing adaptive immune responses that are deregulated in patients with celiac Disease. To get a better understanding of the role played by B and T lymphocytes in the context of Celiac Disease, we combine mouse and human studies to characterize those cells in health and disease and assess their function.

Job Summary

The candidate will be in charge of independently managing mouse colony breeding and genotyping. In addition, the candidate should have skills in molecular biology to perform the preparation of libraries for RNA‑sequencing and in cellular immunology to perform and assist with immunology experiments that involve cell isolation, cytokine‑based assays, and flow cytometry.
