Position Summary:

The postdoctoral researcher will be part of a research team working on advanced cooling systems for high density data centers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The postdoctoral researcher will be expected to participate in the project's work and lead a team of graduate and undergraduate researchers performing the following major tasks:

* Design experimental apparatus, systems, and instrumentation

* Supervise and participate in the construction and/or assembly of experimental apparatus, systems, and instrumentation

* Set up instrumentation with control software

* Acquire data from apparatus and systems

* Create simulation models and perform simulation of test apparatus and cooling devices and systems using commercial software

* Participate in weekly meetings and help to prepare reports and presentations for project sponsor.

Minimum Qualifications:

* PhD in Mechanical Engineering required.

* Experience with hardware development and instrumentation required, as well as experience with software tools such as ANSYS Fluent, MATLAB, EES, and Lab View.
