* ** Regular shift - 5 days per week with mandatory 1 day work weekend (you can choose either Saturday or Sunday)*

** What's a typical day as Scientist 1 - Research and Development? You'll be:*
* + Performing preculture and cell culture operations of reduced scale bioreactors.

+ Executing lab-scale protocols to support automation and advanced process control of bioreactor operations.

+ Participating in the evaluation of new sensor technologies installed in bioreactors.

+ Conducting offline sample testing and preparing data summaries of bioreactor operations.

+ Reporting to senior team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

** This job might be an outstanding fit if you:*
* + Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.

+ Demonstrate a strong understanding of biotherapeutic manufacturing cell culture operations.

+ Are competent in independently operating reduced scale manufacturing, including aseptic techniques, preculture, and cell culture (strongly preferred).

+ Possess knowledge and experience with process-supporting measurements such as metabolite analyzers and cell counting analyzers.

+ Have excellent communication, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
